Less-than-truckload

You choose the carrier. We handle the relationships.

A pallet moves on a carrier you picked for a rate you agreed to. Six weeks later an invoice arrives with a liftgate charge, a reweigh and a class correction on it. Nothing about the freight changed. What changed is that nobody checked the delivery address before the truck got there.

Every carrier in one place

Comparing carriers on your own means managing dozens of relationships, each with its own rates, transit times and liability limits. Through the GlobalTranz network you reach 95 percent or more of the LTL market from one screen.

Compare

Rate, transit and coverage together

The cheapest rate is not the cheapest shipment if the transit time costs you a production day or the liability limit will not cover the load. You see all three side by side, so the tradeoff is yours to make rather than a surprise later.

Vetted

Authority, insurance, safety rating

Every carrier is checked for active operating authority, current insurance and safety rating before it appears in your options. That means the choice in front of you is already a list of carriers we would put our own freight on.

Booked

Online, or by our team

Book it yourself when it suits you, or send us the details and our team builds the shipment for you. Either way the same people are behind it, so nothing gets lost between a website and a phone call.

Where LTL invoices actually go wrong

Four things account for most of the gap between a quote and an invoice. All four are visible before the freight moves, if somebody looks.

The address, not the freight

Residential delivery, limited access, a construction site, no dock. Each one carries a fee, and none of them are obvious from a ZIP code. We check both addresses against the conditions that create charges and show you what they will add before you book.

Density, not weight

Since July 2025 density sets the class for most general freight on a 13-subprovision scale. A pallet that measured one way on paper and another on the dock gets reclassified, and the correction arrives as a rebill.

Item numbers that moved

Docket 2025-1 consolidated roughly 2,000 NMFC listings. If your system still pulls a class from an old commodity table, you may be quoting against an item that no longer exists.

Nobody watching in transit

When a carrier reports a weight or class that differs from what you booked, our team is alerted and takes it up with the carrier. Often that happens before an updated invoice reaches you, which is the only point where it is cheap to fix.

What you get on every LTL shipment

Not a feature list. These are the four things that decide whether the invoice matches the quote.

Fee check at quote

Both addresses screened for the conditions that trigger accessorial charges.

Tracking to any inbox

Add any email address at booking and updates go straight to whoever needs them.

Claims handled for you

If freight arrives damaged our claims team files with the carrier and follows up every two weeks until it is resolved.

Documents in one place

Bills of lading, invoices, statements and payment, all online and all retrievable without a phone call.

Before you book

Know what the carrier will find

Two free tools, no account needed. Check the density class on your pallet, then check the delivery address against the conditions that add fees.

The usual suspects

  • Liftgate at pickup or delivery
  • Residential or limited access
  • Inside delivery
  • Reweigh and reclassification
  • Redelivery after a missed appointment

Send us a lane and a pallet count.

We come back with a rate, a transit time, a carrier and a note on the fees those two addresses are likely to trigger.
